WELCOME

This research repository was designed to support research about global resource frontiers.

The term ‘resource frontier’ refers to geographies at the forefront of resource extraction and exploitation. Resources are taken to include minerals, waterways, forests, and other natural asset classes.

ABOUT

The repository provides:

  • Practical compilation: A pioneering collection of global datasets from reputable sources.

  • Cross-disciplinary coverage: Spanning social, economic, environmental, and cultural dimensions.
